"Seeds" is the debut single from Pink Shadows, a new Seattle band that takes a hand-crafted approach to synthpop. Vocalist Erika Lundahl sings with intimacy and intensity while the rest of the band serves up layers of live electronics, digital and analog synthesizers, and electroacoustic drumming. The effect can be end up anywhere from silky-smooth darkwave to ritualistic industrial, but always stays danceable.

"Seeds" is a nostalgic journey into the subconscious," says Lundahl. "We wanted to capture how relationships from adolescence become little myths that reverberate within us. It's a bit of a Never-never land journey into the wilderness of growing up."
